If you are planning to visit Los Angeles or New York in the near future and want to experience the magical production of US TV Shows, it’s almost effortless to sign up and get waitlisted for free tickets to see these shows LIVE… yes, they’re free!
After signing up through dedicated websites, tickets confirmation are usually notified by email within one week before the taping (some even weeks earlier) along with the instructions on where to go, how to get there and the appropriate dress code.
Generally you will need to spare at least 4 to 5 hours of your day to attend one of these tapings – the check-in would normally start about 1 to 2 hours before the actual taping commence.
Bear in mind that most of the Talk Shows will require patrons to be at least 16 or 18 years old.
Some shows (based on popularity) will be hard to come by and you will need to book months in advance (i.e. Ellen Show & The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon), but some are relatively easy to get even at the last minute.
We’ve had the chance to attend a number of Late Night Talk Shows and each one was a fun experience, although the check-in process can be quite tedious, but it’s always worth it once they sat you inside the studio.

If you have some money to spare and don’t mind paying the big bucks, there are several concierge services that offers VIP experiences which includes a Meet & Greet and not just to talk shows but it could also be a visit to film locations to meet the actors, exclusive film premieres and backstage access to major concerts of your choosing.
The price ranges from $1,000 to $5,000 per person – like I said, only if you can afford it.
